The old phrase “you are what you eat” is a clever saying you shouldn’t take lightly! It goes way beyond the physical component… your mental health is also directly effected by what you eat (or don’t eat!)
With food being our primary source of vitamins, minerals, anti-oxidants, and caloric energy (just to name a few), you can only imagine how much impact our food choices truly have on our bodies! Staying properly fuelled in both every day life and in the backcountry will not only improve your overall mental and physical health, but will improve your performance and keep your hanger at bay!
